PROMPTx | Paging all AI & XR Enthusiasts and Pros

#AI #PromptEngineering #XR #Spatial

Everything is alive with the sound of AI - even the Beatles. So without further adieu let’s roll out first release the only #AI #PromptEngineering #XR #Spatial newsletter you’ll ever need in your inbox.

Some Tools:

Move.AI - the game of mocap has been changed forever - it’s actually no longer required. IMO this is the biggest gamechanger on the deck —- from Netflix to your preteens social posts —- this app will be making waves for years.

Webscraping.AI - AI webscraping - you can also find the repo on GIT.

Framer.com (Framer AI) - Make websites in minutes with AI.

Snapdragon Spaces - One of the best organized APIs in the AR game.

Inspired Projects:

For: Content Creators, Prompt Engineering

Meet Paragraphica - it forces prompt-writers to think in the physical world (the future of prompts isn't a chat window) - if you're a true tinkerer, you'll probably instantly fall in love with it. Spend the couple of dollars to take the ride --- it's not perfect but it's a way of thinking about how AI can be incorporated into physical experiences.

AR + Generative AI: LUMA AI

For: Content Creators, Social Media, Drone Replacement

Hard not to fawn over this #generativeAI take that incorporates an #AR workflow to replace a drone that karenxcheng made using LumaAI on insta.

Generative AI: Refik Anadol’s “Unsupervised” has demonstrated resiliency for AI generative art

For: Understanding the value of Generative art

A couple of months ago, Refik Anadol stood up on stage at TED in Vancouver and engaged an audience that was divided on AI made art. But something happened - Refik, the person, the artist, was more visible in the work than the tech he used. “Unsupervised” is proving AI made art has a bright future on all fronts —- for artists, value, experience, accessibility, and most importantly, appreciation.

“… the average museumgoer spends about 30 seconds in front of an artwork before they move on to the next one. I’ve seen people in front of #Unsupervised for hours.”

— Joan Kee and our curator Michelle Kuo’s conversation at MoMA Magazine. The Museum of Modern Art

Given the birth of the Apple Vision Pro, bigger screens everywhere, the NFT evolution, and virtual worlds with room for art, the doorway to a new-to-be trend is hanging open in large part thanks to Refik. Eventually, it might become as ubiquitous as a screensaver in some mediums but I’m thinking architecture and interior/exterior design will be the big (and profitable) benefactor. If the AI’s employed allow artists to create easily recognizable and brandable ideas while not losing the abstract soul, the value of the art as an NFT might just be understood beyond Crypto Bros (excuse the expression but …).

4Wall Entertainment, and ZeroSpace partner with Disguise to bring Virtual Production Accelerator training programme to NYC

For: the future of filmmaking is spatial, virtual, and AI generated

Wanna be a filmmaker? A real one that doesn’t fish for likes on Tiktok? Well, the future of film is so far beyond the traditional landscape that right now is the best moment in human history for filmmakers to turn their stories into reality with unrealized tools at the scale of Netflix and beyond. Forget filmschool - the revolution will be over before graduation - jump on and enjoy the wild ride.

"The Virtual Production Accelerator will provide an immersive and comprehensive on-set learning experience for participants of all skill levels. Leveraging the expertise and facilities of 4Wall and ZeroSpace, the program will combine classroom training with practical principal photography, enabling trainees to gain hands-on experience and an accurate simulation of the demands faced on real film sets."

"Participants of the Virtual Production Accelerator program will have access to state-of-the-art production facilities at ZeroSpace’s headquarters in Brooklyn."

What isn’t expanded upon is the live capabilities - thinking theatre, concert, sports, etc event possibilities are more interesting but are they reliable and possible, yet?

Hey - that’s it! The first PromptX post is in the bag and now it’s time to find the audience content this good deserves
